- Responsible for assembly of mechanical systems which includes positioning and alignment of parts for production packaging machinery and equipment.
- Assembly of mechanical parts and packaging machine components. Ensuring that production packaging machinery runs efficiently with limited breakdown.
- Understanding of technical mechanical drawings of machinery.
- Modify machine parts and fit them to machinery with the use of correct tools and equipment.
- Commission, run and maintain Acepak vertical form fill seal machines and Pre-filled communion cup horizontal form fill packaging machines.
- Perform fault finding of pneumatic and electronic equipment.
- Utilize mechanical and electrical knowledge of AC/DC motors.
- Repair and replace Mitsubishi Encoders + PLC Drive; repair of Timken + SKF double row tapered bearings & pillar bearings.
- Repair MISUMI guide pillar & bush sets. Repair FESTO pneumatic couplers, 1/4” blue tubing, and solenoid valves. Repair JT HDR Low speed power transmission drive chains and sprockets.
- Perform replacement of Jet-lube 769 food grade lubricant grease.
Requires two years of experience in the job offered or two years of experience in operating a MachineTech forming, filling, sealing communion cup packaging machine or have very closely related machine experience; fault finding of pneumatic and electronic equipment; mechanical and electrical repair of AC/DC motors; repair of Mitsubishi Encoders + PLC Drive; repair of Timken + SKF double row tapered bearings & pillar bearings; repair of MISUMI guide pillar & bush sets; repair of FESTO pneumatic couplers, 1/4” blue tubing, and solenoid valves; repair of JT HDR Low speed power transmission drive chains and sprockets; and replacement of Jet-lube 769 food grade lubricant grease.
